IPL4: Final 4 teams decided

Following Kings XI Punjab's defeat to Deccan Chargers on Saturday, the top four slots in IPL 4 are booked. But you might need your calculators out on Sunday as the race now heats up for the top two slots. It is clear that Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders andMumbai Indians will be in the playoffs. What remains to be decided are their placings, which will depend on the outcomes of the RCB-CSK and KKR-MI games on Sunday. The winner of the first match will top the table, while the loser of the second will be placed fourth. If CSK wins the first game, RCB will finish third and the winner of the KKR-MI game will finish second. However, if Chennai loses, the winner of the KKR-MI match will be tied with CSK on points and the second and third spots will then be decided on net run rates. In that case, CSK will hope that it loses by a narrow margin and Mumbai wins the second game, since Sachin's boys have the lowest net run rate of the four teams at the moment. Finishing in the top two is not just a matter of bragging rights. The format for this season gives the first two teams two shots at getting into the final. A unique eliminator concept means that the top two teams first play each other, with the winner making the final, and the loser then playing the winner of the other playoff to decide the second finalist. Cricket Calculations * Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai through to playoffs * Sunday's games to decide spots 1 to 4 * Winner of CSK-RCB game will top table, loser in KKR-MI match finish 4th * If CSK wins, RCB's third, winner of KKR-MI 2nd * If CSK loses, 2nd, 3rd spots to be decided by net run rates

Sending Money To India

Following are the different Mediums for sending money to India:

1. Some Indian banks have tie up with US, UK Banks and you can register for remittance accout and send money through your Foreign bank account directly to Indian Account. Limitation here is, Indian bank to which you can send is fixed and rate you get is less compared to the market but fixed, no fluctuation.

2. Many other websites like remit2India, remit.onlinesbi, money2india etc are available which transfer the money to any bank account within 4-5 business days. Rate depends on the market value on the day the money is exchanged and transfered. SBI gives more rate as compared to other websites. Remit2india has a very good customer service.
No comments on Icici and HDFC...

Ice in Golden Valley

Temple in Golden Valley

We Visited temple in Golden valley. Its a beautiful temple with all the Gods like Ganapati, Shiva, Vithoba, Saraswati etc. The temple is built by South Indians(chennai people). We met a very senior person over there who is I guess member of that temple. He is in Minneapolis over 41 years and was sharing his experience in the city. He told us that this temple has costed them about 70 million dollars and they pay an EMI of 36000$ per month and till date they have not faced any problem paying that amount. Overall it was a great start to our new year as it was 1st Jan 2010.

Chicago Beauty - Buildings

Chicago is the largest city in the U.S. state of Illinois, and with more than 2.8 million people, the 3rd largest city in the United States. Located on the southwestern shores of Lake Michigan and next to Indiana, Chicago is the third-most densely populated major city in the U.S. and anchor to the world's 26th largest metropolitan area[4] with over 9.6 million people across three states. Except for the southwest corner of O'Hare Airport in DuPage County, the city of Chicago is located in Cook County.
Chicago was founded in 1833, near a portage between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River watershed. The city became a major transportation and telecommunications hub in North America. Today, the city retains its status as a major hub, both for industry and infrastructure, with its O'Hare International Airport as the second busiest airport in the world. In modern times, the city has taken on an additional dimension as a center for business and finance and is listed as one of the world's top ten Global Financial Centers. Chicago is a stronghold of the Democratic Party and has been home to influential politicians, including the current President of the United States, Barack Obama. The World Cities Study Group at Loughborough University rated Chicago as an, "alpha world city.
In 2007[update], the city attracted 32.8 million domestic visitors and about 1.15 million foreign visitors. Making use of its abundant resources, Chicago has a heritage for hosting major international, national, regional, and local events that include commerce, culture, entertainment, politics, and sports.
Globally recognized, Chicago has numerous nicknames, which reflect the impressions and opinions about historical and contemporary Chicago. The best known include: "Chi-town"; "Chi-city"; the "Windy City" with reference to Chicago politicians and residents boasting about their city; "Second City," due to the city generally being the second most prestigious in the nation in terms of culture, entertainment, and finance; and because for much of the twentieth century Chicago's population was the second largest of any city in the United States, and the "City of Big Shoulders", referring to its numerous skyscrapers (whose steel frame designs were largely pioneered in Chicago), described as being husky and brawling.
Chicago has also been called "the most American of big cities"
